Gardner Denver is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support production areas and lead new projects. The ideal candidate will have a Manufacturing Engineering degree or experience, and be able to self-manage projects and work to deadlines.
Requirements
- Definition of production processes for new products or change projects
- Creation/maintenance of work instructions, process flows, picklists, and routings
- Change Management – Processing of ECNs and management of implementation
- Specification creation, and sourcing, of production tooling and equipment
- Creation/ maintenance of assembly area CAD layout
- Assembly area relayout/re-organisation (including process timing and line/work balancing)
- Implementation/maintenance of production control system
- Control Plan – Manufacturing engineering support (including definition/implementation of control methods)
- PFMEA – Creation, ownership, and maintenance
- Sourcing of test equipment to meet engineering specifications
- Evaluation and analysis of product designs to formulate the most appropriate assembly processes
- Identification of productivity improvement opportunities and planning/implementation of productivity improvement activities
- Support provision for production related issue resolution
