Ingredion is seeking an Instrument Technician to perform preventive maintenance activities on devices or instruments of control, providing specialized technical support in the field, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and operational efficiency standards.
Requirements
- Perform technical services in the field (80% of the time)
- Repair and calibration of control valves and on/off valves
- Maintenance of flow, level, density, and temperature transmitters
- Diagnosis and solution of faults in instrumentation systems and industrial communication networks
- Interpretation of instrumentation diagrams under ISA standard
- Programming and diagnosis of Allen Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, SLC, PLC 10/20)
- Knowledge and operation of distributed control systems (DCS INVENSYS)
- Handling of industrial communication protocols: Fieldbus, Profibus, HART, etc.
- Planning of maintenance in SAP, including: preparation of technical scopes, generation and closure of work orders, loading of technical reports into the system, and participation in daily planning meetings with production shift supervisors
