Job Description
This temporary Behavioral Health Care Manager position is a remote opportunity provided through a contracted agency. The role focuses on person-centered care for IEHP members, promoting health behaviors, coordination of care, and resource linkages, with a focus on evidence-based practices. Candidates should model ethical behavior and commitment to quality improvement within the department.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience performing or facilitating Behavioral Health/Medical Social Work services
- Master’s degree in Social Work or related field required
- Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered license in a Social Services related field
- Possession of a valid California Driver's License
- Experience in motivational interviewing and/or other evidenced-based communication strategies
- Experience working within a team and with clients/coworkers
- Knowledge of mental health and substance use conditions (acute and chronic management) is preferred
- Bilingual (English/IEHP Threshold Language) is highly preferred
