Field Service Technician

INNIO is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of engines, with prior mechanical experience and strong customer service mindset.

Requirements

• Prior mechanical experience such as automotive, power generation, heavy equipment or diesel engines
• Perform preventative maintenance (oil change, valve adjustment, lube and check equipment)
• Experienced using tools (including diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools)
• Ability to read, interpret safety documents, schematics and other mechanical diagrams
• Experienced in troubleshooting and repairs of an engine
• The ability to work well as part of a team
• Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions
• Ability to travel incl. overnight travel
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and desire to succeed
• Must be able to communicate via telephone & email
• Strong customer service mindset
• 7+ years’ experience in a technical role or extensive years of experience with issue resolution exposure within (Field-) Service on engines (ideally INNIO Jenbacher engines)
• Technical attitude, complemented by strong business acumen including basic IT skills
• Willingness to work in shift model (depending) and on call
• Experience working with electrical or mechanical systems
• Fluency in English a must
• Good interpersonal skills
