Robotics Solutions Engineer – Robotics Data Collection & Physical AI

Innodata is seeking a Robotics Solutions Engineer to work with innovative robotics and model-building teams, designing data capture solutions and leading technical pilots, samples, and demos. This role requires a strong engineering background in robotics, mechatronics, or computer science, with experience in programming languages such as Python and Linux-based environments.

Requirements

• Strong engineering background in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience developing with Python and one or more additional languages commonly used in robotics/ML (e.g., C++, Java), plus comfort working in Linux-based environments.
• Hands-on experience with robotics or Physical AI systems (e.g., perception/control stacks, teleoperation, simulation, or robotics data pipelines).
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the technical credibility to work with both senior executives and front-line engineers.
• Proven ability to manage complex technical projects, juggle multiple customer engagements, and operate with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
• High comfort working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations in a fast-moving environment, including some customer travel as needed.
