Project Support Associate (Project Controls & Performance)

The Project Support Associate supports project performance, financial accuracy, and operational discipline across active projects, serving as an analytical support function for Project Managers and Account Managers.

Requirements

• Maintain detailed project trackers comparing estimated vs. actual costs
• Track project performance metrics and identify cost overruns or margin risks
• Identify trends and variances impacting project profitability
• Track change orders from submission through approval and billing
• Follow up internally and externally on outstanding COs and POs
• Ensure approved changes are accurately reflected in job cost reports
• Coordinate with Project Managers to confirm project completion status
• Support timely and accurate invoicing aligned with contract terms
• Validate billing against approved change orders and project milestones
• Provide structured financial and performance updates to project teams
• Maintain accurate logs, trackers, and follow-up documentation
• Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and clients as needed
