Job Description
IDT is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Arlington, VA office. The role involves developing and executing platform strategies for Defense-related applications using advanced software automation, model-based systems engineering, and AI-driven capabilities. The company focuses on accelerating development, enhancing operational readiness, and reducing lifecycle costs for the Department of Defense.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software development
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
- Experience with SQL and PostgreSQL
- Ability to decompose and document software requirements and specifications
- Understanding of distributed systems
- Proficiency in version control (Git, SVN)
- Experience with testing and configuration management
- Ability to work in hybrid environment
- Experience with containerized deployments
