Additive Manufacturing Engineer

iRocket is seeking a highly motivated Additive Manufacturing Engineer to lead the design, process development, and qualification of additive-manufactured rocket hardware. The role involves optimizing designs, improving performance, and driving iterative improvements, and collaborating with various teams to reduce cost and lead time. iRocket focuses on advanced manufacturing of reusable launch systems.

Requirements

• Develop, qualify, and produce additive-manufactured (AM) metal parts.
• Optimize AM designs: design for additive manufacturing (DfAM), thermal-mechanical analysis, post-process workflows, non-destructive inspection, and certification.
• Collaborate with materials, structures, manufacturing, and design teams.
