Job Description
Innovative Therapeutic Services (ITS) is seeking a part-time licensed psychiatrist to provide psychiatric services to children and adolescents in a juvenile detention center setting. The ideal candidate is a licensed psychiatrist in Maryland with experience working with youth in juvenile justice settings and a commitment to trauma-informed, evidence-based care.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Completion of accredited psychiatry residency; fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry preferred
- Licensed in the state of Maryland in good standing
- Minimum of 5 years practicing psychiatry
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a juvenile detention center setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet-based systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willing to complete a federal and state background check
- Reliable transportation
