Inova is looking for a dedicated, full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) needed for busy inpatient/outpatient Urology service.
Requirements
- Daily morning and afternoon rounding on inpatients and consults
- Daily writing of progress notes
- Assessment and verbal presentation of ER and inpatient consults
- Writing of consult notes for attending review
- Performing or assisting with bedside procedures
- Placing orders for admissions and discharges
- Ordering and interpreting labs and radiologic studies
- Fielding phone calls from beside nurses
- Multidisciplinary care coordination and patient education
- Outpatient visits
- First-assisting in the OR as service needs permit or require
