Pathologist (MD/DO)

Inova Pathology is seeking AP/CP board certified pathologists to provide anatomic and clinical pathology services.

Requirements

• Fellowship training in an area of surgical pathology with at least 3 years of surgical and clinical pathology sign out experience is preferred.
• Sign out responsibilities, frozen section coverage, and on-call duties are shared with other members of the pathology faculty.
• Graduate of accredited Medical Doctorate Program (MD/DO), 3 years in active practice of pathology preferred, Board Certification: Anatomic and Clinical Pathology - AP/CP, Certification: Must obtain advanced certification in applicable modality within one years of training; BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Licensure: Currently hold or ability to obtain an unrestricted VA medical licensure, Credentialing: Ability to obtain successful medical staff credentials throughout all of our Inova pathology locations
