Job Description
We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in a fast-growing UK hub. As a Financial Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial integrity and strategic growth of our parcels division.
Requirements
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Proven experience in fixed asset accounting and maintaining asset registers within a complex or multi-site environment.
- Strong understanding of Capex management, reporting, and financial controls.
- Hands-on experience with IFRS 16 lease accounting and financial reporting compliance.
- Experience supporting or managing finance projects, tracking spend against budgets, and partnering with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce clear, insightful financial reporting.
- Experience supporting month-end close, reconciliations, cashflow forecasting, and debt calculations.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders.
