Biology / Chemistry Teacher (Secondary, A Level & IBDP)

King's College School Alicante is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Biology and/or Chemistry Teacher to join our high-performing Science faculty. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching at KS3–KS5, including A Level and/or IBDP, and contribute to science teaching across the middle and senior school.

Requirements

• Teach Biology and/or Chemistry across KS3–A Level and/or IBDP.
• Support the teaching of general Science to younger middle and senior school students as required.
• Track, assess and support pupil progress to ensure strong academic outcomes.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners, including EAL pupils.
• Contribute to curriculum development, departmental initiatives and practical science activities.
• Participate in enrichment programmes, extracurricular opportunities and wider school life.
• Engage actively in professional development and reflective practice.
• Integrate educational technologies—including VR, AI and digital science tools—to enhance learning.
