Requirements

• Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons based on Quality First Teaching principles.
• Teach Music across Early Years, Primary, and Secondary age ranges (3–16).
• Plan and lead musical events, concerts, performances, and extracurricular clubs.
• Promote participation in musical activities and foster a love of music in every learner.
• Provide stretch, challenge, and support for mixed-attainment groups.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and whole-school performances.
• Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with English as an additional language.
• Support the school’s strong pastoral ethos by contributing to the holistic development of every student.
• Embrace the use of digital tools, virtual reality, and emerging technologies to enhance learning.
