Profesor/a de Lengua y Literatura Española y Coordinador/a de Área

The British School of Madrid is seeking a Professor/Professor of Spanish Language and Literature and Area Coordinator to lead the educational strategy of the department and ensure each student reaches their maximum academic and personal potential.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of recent teaching experience in Secondary/High School, preferably in international, bilingual, or British curriculum schools.
• Proven experience in teaching leadership, area coordination, or equivalent role.
• Recent and relevant training in teaching methodologies.
• University degree in the specialty and teaching certification (PGCE or equivalent).
• Spanish level C2 and English minimum B2 (or commitment to reach it in 12 months).
• Ability to lead teams, work strategically, and elevate academic and pastoral standards.
