Requirements

• Prepare a structured programme of study for each class taught
• Prepare lesson plans and teach individual lessons
• Mark class work and homework and assess achievement according to agreed Faculty policy
• Contribute to curriculum development and assimilate elements of the British National Curriculum as appropriate
• Attend meetings, including parent consultation meetings, as required
• Be involved in the duty rota, as scheduled
• Ensure that the ethics of the school as expressed in the school philosophy are clearly reflected in your teaching
• Cover for absent colleagues and invigilate examinations as required
• Promote the image of the school
