Teacher of English

PaRK International School in Lisbon is seeking a well-qualified and talented English Teacher to join their team in August 2026. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree in English Language, Literature, or a related field, plus a valid teaching qualification, and experience teaching English, ideally with knowledge of IB curriculum (IBDP) or other international programmes.

Requirements

• Deliver engaging and effective instruction in English Language and Literature, aligned with the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) and other international curricula.
• Plan and execute dynamic lessons that cater to diverse learning needs, incorporating modern teaching strategies and technology.
• Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, ensuring high academic standards.
• Provide pastoral support, promoting student well-being and collaborating with the school’s well-being team.
• Encourage student involvement in extra-curricular activities, cultural events, and language-related projects.
• Contribute to curriculum development and school improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment with high standards of behaviour and discipline.
