Teaching Assistant

St Anthony's School for Boys is looking to appoint an experienced and dynamic Teaching Assistant on a permanent contract. The successful candidate will work with the class teacher to foster a warm, caring, and friendly environment for the children within the classroom.

Requirements

• Work with the class teacher to foster a warm, caring, and friendly environment for the children within the classroom
• Work with the class teacher in preparing work for the boys putting up displays and assisting as required within the classroom
• Stay informed about all school policies and be aware of issues concerning individual students, ensuring effective communication among colleagues for their overall well-being.
• Share in the responsibility for covering colleagues in their absence
• Accompany and supervise children during off-site activities
• Undertake lunchtime supervision, including the road crossing of pupils
• Prepare and clear up resources and maintain resource areas
