Upper Primary Teacher

The British College of Gavà is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Upper Primary Teacher to teach Years 5 and 6, supporting students as they develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to transition successfully into secondary education.

Requirements

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across all upper primary subjects, following the English National Curriculum.
• Track and assess student progress, adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and resilience.
• Support the pastoral development of students, building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, cross-curricular projects, and school-wide initiatives.
• Participate in school events, trips, and extracurricular activities.
• Maintain high professional standards in safeguarding, communication, and classroom management.
