Requirements
- Evaluates bid specifications and drawings as inputs
- Creates accurate estimates thorough take-offs from plans
- Communicates effectively with clients to ensure proper scope is quoted
- Obtains competitive quotes for subcontracted work from subcontractors
- Develops and issues competitive proposals to customers
- Ensures that the organization is fully aware of the necessary tools or information required to successfully bid and acquire a project
- Participates in project reviews
- Shows creativity and resourcefulness to gain the best profit and pricing balance
- Contributes to a database/library of pricing inputs and outputs to refine and streamline the estimating process
