Growth Engineer

Instrumentl is a hypergrowth YC-backed startup hiring a Growth Engineer to design experiments and implement features that drive user acquisition, activation, retention, and engagement. Requirements

• Experienced software engineer with 3+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development, preferably in a startup environment.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their integration with Rails applications.
• Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
• Collaborative and able to work in a cross-functional environment involving product managers, designers, marketers, and data analysts.
• Experimental with experience in rapid iteration, feature flagging, and A/B testing.
• Highly analytical with a data-first mindset and ability to interpret experiment results, behavioral analytics, and product telemetry.
• Hungry to make an impact and motivated by fast learning cycles, continuous improvement, and seeing work move the needle.
