We are seeking a permanent full-time Senior Procurement Specialist to lead complex public procurement projects.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading competitive procurement processes (e.g. RFP) for large scale, complex sourcing initiatives in large organization(s) with multiple lines of business, with a minimum of 5 years of experience preferred.
- Strong analytical abilities, able to understand and refine business requirements, develop innovative procurement strategies, and draft solicitation documents.
- Exceptional communication skills to obtain buy-in and support for procurement strategies from internal customers, and influence outcomes by providing consulting and guidance at all levels and across business divisions.
- Highly effective negotiation skills to obtain best value pricing and contract terms.
- Success guiding cross-functional teams and stakeholders through the end-to-end procurement process from market research to contract execution.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills to manage concurrent procurement projects effectively and to meet deadlines.
- Relationship management expertise to build and maintain productive relationships with internal customers and external suppliers.
