As a Mitigation Technician, you will provide emergency restoration services for families and businesses affected by fire, water, mold, sewer, and storm damage. You are on the front lines of recovery—stabilizing properties, preventing further damage, and delivering professional, compassionate service during stressful situations.
Requirements
- Respond to emergency mitigation calls and assess property damage caused by fire, water, mold, and weather-related events
- Perform water extraction, structural drying, and mitigation services in accordance with IICRC standards
- Remove and dispose of damaged building materials safely and efficiently
- Decontaminate, clean, and deodorize affected interior spaces
- Collaborate with the Contents Division to clean, pack, and store salvageable items
- Document job progress through photos and detailed notes using PSA and other required software
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, answering questions with empathy and respect
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times
- Properly set up, operate, clean, and store tools and equipment
- Follow warehouse and vehicle protocols, including daily documentation of consumables and equipment use
- Work effectively and collaboratively with project managers, crew chiefs, and team members
