Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Intapp is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join its Research & Development center in Lisbon. The ideal candidate will have a passion for high quality software and engineering principles with strong analytic, problem solving and programming skills.

Requirements

• Proven experience in manual testing, including test planning, test case creation, execution, defect reporting, and issue tracking (typically 4+ years)
• Experience in test automation, test tooling, and infrastructure for automated testing
• Solid understanding of software development principles and Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience in at least one common programming language (preferable languages C#, Java) and familiarity with web technologies such as HTML and CSS
• Expert knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools, covering both manual and automated testing approaches
• Understanding of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodology, including its application in building and testing robust, high-quality software
• Experience in configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing workflows, along with proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong organizational and time management skills to work across projects, proactively managing competing priorities
• Excellent communication skills to work in a collaborative environment and participate in stakeholder meetings
• Familiarity with load, stress, or performance testing tools and methodologies is a plus
• An understanding of Microsoft Azure & Amazon Web Services is a plus
• An ISTQB/ISEB certification is a plus
• Fluency in English
