Job Description
IPS is seeking a passionate In-Shop Technician to rewind and maintain basic electromechanical equipment, inspecting components, testing performance, and documenting data. The role emphasizes hands-on work, problem-solving, and maintaining high standards of safety and ethical workplace practices. The company prioritizes growth, job longevity, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Experience in rewinding AC and DC electric motors
- Prior practice in winding fields, armatures, and synchronous rotor poles
- Ability to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple to moderately complex written and verbal instructions
- Ability to understand, perform, and retain various job-related training, operational, and safety procedures
- Ability to operate and perform VPI
