Communications Specialist providing communications support and expertise across various channels to increase awareness of IT strategy, partnerships, and programs within IT and throughout the global Shire community.
Requirements
- Write crisp, professional communications for a diverse, global audience.
- Collaborate with IT managers to create announcements for new hires, promotions, and other organizational changes.
- Create, edit, and update web content on the Shire Intranet using Microsoft SharePoint.
- Plan and execute communications events, including lunch-and-learns, manager’s meetings, and other special events.
- Lead the communications for global IT projects as assigned.
- Research, interview, write, and edit news stories that demonstrate the value that IT brings to the business.
- Assist with script creation and production of informal videos showcasing IT projects and strategy.
- Provide a consistent stream of internal social media content via Yammer.
- Drive IT adherence to Shire’s branding standards.
- Create attractive, user-centric print collateral, including infographics, job aids, and service brochures.
