Job Description
INTEGRIS Health Edmond Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT exams, including imaging, interventional and computerized reconstruction. The role involves operating CT equipment and adhering to strict safety standards. The hospital emphasizes a partnership with patients to improve health outcomes.
Requirements
- Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals
- Develops film by automatic processing utilizing a knowledge of this equipment
- Utilizes surgical techniques as needed in performing sterile procedures
- Assists in equipment calibration and quality control
- Administers radiographic contrast
- Evaluates radiologist consultation
- Composes initial IV set-up prep
- Initial IV set up for CT Scan
- Exposure to moveable tables, film bins, needles, and chemical fumes
- Requires potential physical demand, respiratory fit test, and overtime work
