Job Description
We are scaling fast and seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build and operate ML inference and pipeline systems. You will work in a cross-functional squad with data scientists and product/BA/agile counterparts to move models safely into production with strong engineering practices.
Requirements
- Design and build components of an ML platform that supports scalable, reliable model deployment and inference
- Develop and maintain ML pipelines (deployment, orchestration, monitoring, reliability) with strong engineering discipline
- Build and maintain APIs/services (Python-based) to serve models and platform capabilities
- Work heavily with SQL and data interfaces required to support ML pipelines (light-to-moderate data processing as needed)
- Implement and improve CI/CD practices for ML services and pipelines
- Contribute to system design: propose robust architectures, trade-offs, and operational considerations
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and adjacent teams
- Mentor a mid-level ML Engineer within the squad
- Strong Python engineering
- Experience building APIs / backend services
- Strong SQL capability
- Experience with systems design
- Practical MLOps / ML pipeline experience
- Exposure to CI/CD and modern engineering practices
- Cloud experience in at least one major provider; GCP preferred
