Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age
• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Valid NYSDOS photo I.D.
• Valid New York State Photo Driver License
• Valid Fire Guard Certification from the New York City Fire Department
• 2 years of prior Military experience on active duty
• 2 years' experience as a member of the National Guard or Military Reserves
• 2 years full-time experience as a NYSDOS registered New York State security guard
• 2 years full-time experience as a Police Officer, Probation Officer or Corrections Officer
