Financial Regulatory Analyst

We are seeking a Financial Regulatory Analyst to join our team in Tokyo, Japan. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting client assets and ensuring regulatory capital compliance for IBSJ. The position offers an opportunity for significant growth and requires a highly organized, analytical thinker with intellectual curiosity and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, engineering, mathematics or sciences
• More than 4 years of working experience in Finance/ Accounting
• Native Japanese speaker/ reader
• Effective verbal and written communication in English
• Prior experience with financial regulatory reporting is a strong plus
• Knowledgeable in Japanese local GAAP
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• High degree of comfort and proficiency with computerized systems
• Well organized, a self-starter and have a strong work ethic
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Experience in handling tax returns is a plus
• Experience with Oracle Financials is a plus
• Good understanding of technology and automation
• Ability to work co-operatively with multiple teams
