Job Description
This position is for a Learning Support Assistant working within a secondary school. The role involves helping students become effective learners, using ICT to enhance teaching, promoting a positive learning environment, and collaborating with the SENCO/Head of Secondary. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, classroom management, and communication with parents and colleagues.
Requirements
- Excellent working knowledge of the UK Curriculum
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in a school set up in SEN department
- Excellent classroom management
- Collaborative and team-player
- Excellent working knowledge of EAL, ELL, and SEND students
- Commitment to safeguarding principles
