Job Description
Intertek is actively seeking a Geotechnical Driller to join their Professional Services Industries Inc. (Intertek-PSI) team in Tampa, Florida. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various drilling activities to obtain boring samples, investigating subsurface conditions, and evaluating sites for drill rig access requirements. The role is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in the architectural, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry.
Requirements
- 2 years of geotechnical drilling experience
- Experience performing mud rotary drilling
- State or local drilling license (may be required)
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal & written communication
- Basic math skills
- Ability to receive work instructions and follow tasks
- Ability to work off shifts and overtime
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record (required)
- Physical requirements (ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds frequently, etc.)
