We are seeking an Avionics Engineer III - Power Systems to design the power architecture and power conversion electronics for our next-generation spacecraft, Arc. As a senior engineer, you will have a direct impact on the power supply and conversion across all electronics designs on the flight vehicle and custom ground support equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Typically, 6 years of professional experience designing power electronics from ~1 to 1000W, including maximum power point tracking.
- Experience with thermal design for power electronics.
- Experience designing PCBAs using Altium Designer or similar ECAD design software.
- Experience with PDN and converter design for microcontrollers, microprocessors, and similar low-power electronics.
- Experience with PCBA bring-up and performance testing.
- Experience with common laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, and data acquisition systems.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (English).
Benefits
- California annual base salary for this role is currently $125,000 - $144,000.
