Linux Production Engineer

Our client, an International investment business, is seeking a talented individual to join their dynamic team as a Linux Production Engineer. The role involves building, administering, upgrading, and supporting Linux-based platforms, as well as contributing to monitoring and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience working with Linux-based platforms with excellent Linux administration skills.
• Knowledge of RedHat and Centos
• Experience in end-to-end server deployments
• Familiarity with AMD/Intel server hardware and components
• Experience in designing and tuning low-latency server infrastructure
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
• Working knowledge of server network stack, network protocols (e.g., TCP, UDP), LAN, and WAN technologies
• Familiarity with automation technologies (e.g., Ansible) is a plus
• Strong experience with Python and Bash scripting is a plus
• Previous experience in a buy-side environment is a nice to have but not essential
