Job Description
The National Programme Officer - IBG will support the effective implementation, coordination, and monitoring of the Integrated Border Governance (IBG) portfolio.
Requirements
- Support the day-to-day implementation of the IBG portfolio
- Assist in preparing workplans, activity schedules, budgets, and monitoring tools
- Contribute to identifying emerging issues related to border governance
- Assist in drafting thematic papers, reports, and communication materials
- Support and coordinate the implementation of BMM IV activities
- Liaise with government counterparts to facilitate collaboration
- Support efforts to maintain and strengthen partnerships with other agencies and potential donors
- Attend relevant conferences, workshops, working groups, coordination meetings
- Support efforts to ensure that all IBG projects comply with visibility and communication guidelines
- Undertake duty travel as required
