Job Description
IonQ is looking for a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead and grow their Runtime team, which builds and maintains their hybrid classical-quantum computing environment for customers. The ideal candidate will have experience leading multiple initiatives, technical expertise, and strong business judgment.
Requirements
- Contribute to the codebase as a player-coach
- Participate in developer forums and events
- Provide technical expertise and thought leadership
- Drive functional and technical delivery of key team and org-wide programs/initiatives
- Develop and implement program management techniques
- Define and produce high-quality written proposals and communications
- Create plans and drive consistency, clarity, and alignment across teams
- Influence peers and leaders and build consensus
- Hire key staff to scale the function
