Surgical Technician/RN Scrub

Iowa Orthopedic Center is seeking a motivated Surgical Technician or RN who Scrubs to join their team at their state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center. This role offers a dynamic and team-oriented environment focused on mutual support and improvement of patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Completion of Surgical Technology program or past comparable job experience
• RN license to practice in State of Iowa
• Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the operating room
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to surgical procedures
• Prior experience in Orthopedics preferred
• Ability to maintain a BLS qualification for Surg Tech, ACLS for RN
• Ability to perform in situations requiring set limits, standards and strict adherence to established procedures and guidelines
• Excellent data collection and documentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Ability to maintain composure in emergency, critical and/or uncommon situations
