Fiber Network Locator

IQ Fiber is seeking energetic and collaborative Fiber Network Locators to precisely locate existing underground fiber optic cables. This role involves using electronic equipment, operating excavation machinery, and communicating with various stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient cable identification. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of experience in utility locating equipment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possession of a valid Delaware Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of underground utility systems.
• Knowledge of DelDOT’s Maintenance of Traffic (MOT).
• Knowledge of the occupational hazards of working in the electric utility field.
