IRB Barcelona is seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to support research teams in the Comparative Genomics group. The role involves maintaining laboratory equipment, preparing samples, and assisting with experiments. The position is co-financed by the Ministry of Research, Science, Innovation and Universities, the National Agency of Research and the European Regional Development Fund.
Requirements
- Technical certificate or degree in areas related to Clinical and Biomedical science
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology or related field
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a laboratory environment
- Knowledge of laboratory techniques and safety protocols
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Intermediate in English (both written and spoken)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
