Job Description
Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) provide direct physical therapy services under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist, assisting patients in restoring function and preventing disability. This PRN position involves assisting with various tasks within the scope of practice and patient care, adhering to hospital policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Current licensure in NC as a Physical Therapist Assistant or state licensure examination eligible.
- CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Successful completion of a competency based orientation.
- Full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test.
