Operations Engineer II

Iridium is an award-winning and innovative satellite communications company seeking an Operations Engineer II to participate in monitoring and controlling ground systems at the Operations Centers in Grand Forks, ND or Huntsville, AL. As a Mission Planner, you'll work in a 24-hour, multi-satellite operations environment, scheduling satellite and ground resources to accomplish mission objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• 2+ years directly applicable experience working with satellites or in the space field
• Proficient with standard Microsoft Office/engineering tools
• Ability to work in a high-paced operational environment
• Strong communication skills
• Confidence and ability to build meaningful relationships with team members
• Ability to prioritize tasks and seek out ways to improve yourself and gain new knowledge
