Job Description
IronMountain Solutions is seeking a Quality Engineer to support Long Range Standoff Weapon (LRSO) efforts in Huntsville, AL. The role involves overseeing quality control processes throughout the product lifecycle, implementing best practices, and ensuring products meet industry standards and customer expectations. The QA team supports multiple DoD contracts delivering products and services for the full lifecycle of aviation and missile systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.)
- At least twelve (12) years of relevant experience with production & quality control of technical items related to aviation systems
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other quality management systems (QMS) within the hardware manufacturing industry
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience with data-driven decision-making and root cause analysis
- Ability to work within a diverse team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
