As a Service Technician in Training, you will be provided with a variety of tools and resources to become a Maintenance Technician. You will complete online learning, job shadow other maintenance professionals, and get side-by-side hands-on training. The role focuses on successful execution of routine maintenance tasks, basic repairs, and maintaining property aesthetics and preventative maintenance inspections.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- 0+ years of maintenance experience required
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Basic understanding of at least one of the following: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, appliances
- Valid California driver’s license
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to move in and out of a variety of positions
- Ability to push and pull up to 118 pounds of force
- Ability to lift below waist up to 77 pounds and above waist 45 lbs
- Must complete and pass pulmonary exam and respirator fit test
- Ability to perform these functions at multiple sites
