Controller

ISG Technology is a fourth-generation family business that provides IT services to drive business growth. The company is seeking a Controller to support and supervise daily accounting and payroll activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to provide customers with optimum technology solutions and exemplary customer service.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business and/or CPA required
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end/year-end closing experience
• Minimum 3 years of accounting supervisory experience
• Experience with Sage Intacct
• Experience with Datarails (preferred)
• Related industry knowledge and experience a plus
• Demonstrated knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Exceptional accounting, data analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional skills in Microsoft office software (excel, word, outlook)
• Skill in using and maintaining accounting and payroll software
• Managerial skills and ability to function in a supervisory role
• Knowledge of state and federal financial reporting laws and regulations
• Knowledge of financial reporting and analysis
• Ability to develop, maintain, and adhere to company policies and procedures
• Skill in operating various office equipment such as personal computer, copier, fax, and telephone systems
• Ability to keep data, files, and all other company information confidential
• High degree of integrity and honesty
