Laboratory Assistant - Part Time / Days

The Laboratory Assistant will perform non-technical and technical duties, including clinical laboratory testing, specimen collection, and clerical tasks. The role requires a commitment to team, safe patient care, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certified by the State of Washington as a Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Minimum six (6) months Phlebotomy Experience at Island Health or one (1) year documented experience as a Laboratory Assistant or equivalent
• Qualify under Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA)
