Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our Mission 4 development team within the Software Team. The role involves developing embedded software for spacecraft components, identifying and implementing requirements, collaborating with other engineering teams, and ensuring high reliability and quality. This position requires a strong understanding of real-time OS and embedded software development, and a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies.
Requirements
- Developed embedded software for spacecraft components, including landers and transportation systems.
- Identify software requirements and break them down into software design, architecture, and implementation.
- Collaborate with other sub-system engineers, including avionics, ground segment, and system engineers.
- Design and evaluate feasibility of new designs to meet the requirements.
- Manage schedules, costs, and quality on each function assigned.
- Achieve high reliability and quality.
- Design coding, review, integration, test, support and enhancement for spacecraft.
- Design implementation, test, and problem analysis by collaboration.
- Design implementation, test, and problem analysis using collaboration and external stakeholders.
