Research Analyst - Spanish

Perform research and analyze proxy statements to complete proxy analyses for shareholders’ meetings of publicly traded companies covered by ISS’ Research team. Develop market expertise in corporate governance, investment, and shareholder issues gathered through fundamental research and engagement with company executives, institutional investors, and various organizations and government/regulatory/listing authorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Accounting or other business-related area
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in corporate governance, investment analysis, and/or financial research, or other business-related areas
• Fluency in Spanish in addition to fluency in English. Working proficiency in Portuguese also a plus
• Understanding of corporate governance issues, corporate transactions and capital markets
• Familiarity with Latin America countries' regulators and stock exchanges
• Good analytical and research skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Knowledge of MS Office and MS Excel
