Assistant Procurement Manager

The Assistant Procurement Manager will be responsible for the full procurement functionalities of operations, acting as Astron's second to the Procurement Manager. The role will involve developing and administering the goals, objectives, and daily priorities for the Procurement department, as well as identifying cost savings, driving cross-functional teams, and building relationships with suppliers.

Requirements

• Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Business/Commercial
• Minimum 3 or 4 years in purchasing
• Comprehensive knowledge in strategic procurement
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Fluent English and Arabic - both verbal and written
• Overall procurement experience / knowledge
