Dispatch Clerk

The dispatch clerk coordinates the movement of goods and products from the warehouse to clients, ensuring orders are filled and shipped on time, and correct items are included in each shipment.

Requirements

• Organizes the dispatch of goods with completed documents
• Maintains prescribed records of goods received and dispatched
• Check shipping documents and verifies cargo to be released
• Receives details of outgoing cargo and arranges bookings of stock to deliver it to clients
• Ensures outgoing shipments are in good condition and meet specifications
• Perform other duties e.g. filing, scanning, copying, collating, record keeping
• Receive and verify invoices, proof of deliveries, warehouse transfer for goods and services
