Job Description
Join our dynamic ITility team and put your skills and passion to work! We're looking for a Software Application Developer to join the MITES (MEPCOM IT Enterprise Solution) program. This role supports the modernization of critical Department of Defense (DoD) applications by developing scalable, secure cloud-native solutions using AWS Lambda and Ruby on Rails.
Requirements
- Design, develop, and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda and Ruby on Rails Gems.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and cloud-native backend services.
- Partner with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into secure technical solutions.
- Collaborate in a pair programming environment and contribute to unit/integration testing.
- Participate in sprint planning, user story refinement, and continuous delivery activities.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to shared knowledge repositories.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to improve performance, reliability, and security.
